About Us

Meet Us!

We are Tray and Eva Jenkins! I am following God’s call to be the lead Pastor and church planter of PowerHouse Church along with my wife, Eva (8 years). We have 2 awesome dogs named Kipper and Miracle. We literally have a marriage that was arranged by God.

We are two peas in a pod, who have experienced the goodness of God’s amazing grace through His healing in our lives. We have our scars, but that has humbled us and opened our hearts to be used by God to be a blessing to others.

Eva and I have a passion for every aspect of the family dynamic. We are so excited to partner with God so His bride (the Church) can be healed & restored, so she can be His light in the world.

I’ve had the privilege and joy of being in ministry for over 13 years; as a leader in the Singles Ministry, and later the Ministry Leader and Pastor of Celebrate Recovery at The Crossing Church; A Chaplain for Messengers of faith Ministries serving as a Biblical Instructor.

Eva is also a Chaplain, and together we provide education for Marriage and family. We are members of the Adopt-A-Cop initiative for the Las Vegas Metro Police Dept., and we minister to Incarcerated Juveniles. We have a YouTube page, Powerhouse Couple, where we make videos to encourage marriages and singles, helping them deal with various topics. We have an outreach ministry where we minister to the homeless and needy in our community.

Our Mission is to Impact the world for Jesus through our love.

Our Objective is to make Jesus known to everyone. To heal and restore broken relationships, and to make disciples, while growing in our love for God and one another.

Our Values

Transformation is the expectation of every believer

We value the visible, never-ending, total transformation that the Holy Spirit longs to accomplish in every believer. We value and celebrate the heart and life changes that take place in a person who is surrendering to Christ more and more unconditionally. (Romans 12:12, 1 Timothy 4:15, 2 Thessalonians 1:3)

Come as you are

We value the culture of intentional acceptance that Jesus created. We value His king unconditional love that accepts brokenness but encourages healing. Our community will be a banner of God’s love as everything we do will be in the name of love. (Colossians 3:12-17, Romans 14:13, 1 John 4:16)

The bible is relevant in your life

We value the Bible as absolute, universal, timeless truth inspired by God. Everything we believe and teach will always assume a biblical worldview, and with the help of the Holy Spirit, we will interpret and apply scripture in a way that is understandable and relevant to our current culture. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, Acts 17:11)

We were created to make a difference

We value every believer’s service according to their God-given gifts, abilities, and passions. Our community will operate with the expectation that everyone will regularly use what God has given them to accomplish what God has planned for our church, our community, and the world. (Ephesians 2:10, Jeremiah 1:5, Romans 12:4-8)

Life change happens best in relationships

We value interdependent relationships as the best way to grow spiritually. We will encourage every believer to develop authentic relationships with other believers, in which they experience both unconditional acceptance and loving accountability. We also value intentional, authentic relationships with non-believers, and challenge all believers to love one another unconditionally; no questions asked. (Exodus 17:12, Ephesians 4:15-16, 1 Thessalonians 2:8, Matthew 22:36-40)

Effective partnerships promote unity and impact

We value the role of strategic partners both with individual believers and with other organizations that seek to serve others and advance God’s kingdom agenda. Our community will partner with individuals who are seeking God, facilitating spiritual growth so that each of our lives has maximum impact in God’s plan. We will also form partnerships with other organizations so that our impact can be extended and amplified throughout Las Vegas, NV. and the world. (Philippians 1:4-5, 2 Corinthians 8:23, 3 John 1:5-8)
